During each round, if one of the players makes a bet, it has to be contested by the other players. If they choose not to, they must give up their cards. If no one chooses to contest the bettor, the round ends and the bot is awarded to them. The difference between poker and other vying games is that players will often bluff, raising up a weaker hand.

At the end of the game, if there is more than one player left, a sudden death game will be held. At this point the players will show the hands which they have hidden, and their hands will be studied. Most agree that poker likely originated from the French word “poque”, which is futher take from the German word “pochen.”The game of poker is also related to a game of Persian origin which is known as nas. It appears that poker became very popular during the 18th century, and different variations have been developed since the American Civil War.
